What is Live Internet Training?
Live Internet Training can take place when a computer is connected, via the internet, to one or more remote computers anywhere else in the world. Both locations require an internet connection and Microsoft Office tools. Recipients of the training can see and hear the teacher and can fully participate in the lesson on their PCs.
Live Internet Training & Project Africa
Under the Project Africa scheme, lessons in any subject, by qualified teachers are beamed from SkillsTrain's offices via the internet onto the computers in South Africa, from where UK based teacher can use tools such as a white board to demonstrate and discuss IT concepts to the students.
Every operation done on the UK computer can be seen remotely in South Africa. The UK based teacher's voice can be heard. A complete lesson can be conducted in this way, with participation by the school children, whose work can be seen by the UK teacher on their computers.
Software applications are shared between the two countries, giving students the opportunity to learn valuable IT skills that can stand them in good stead for life.
